My back seems to be a little bit straighter, the slope from my chest to by belly has flattened somewhat , and the shorts are definitively baggier. |
|
From start 80 pounds ago to now.
That's right, I do in fact have a neck, and as a friend pointed
out my dimples are becoming more well defined.
I also seem to have lost fat around the top part of my head, an area that
never came to mind as an area that could be fat or loose weight. |
|
I am still obviously still really big but I love that I don't have that
bloated, bulging appearance I had in the first picture. |
|
Wow my belly really flattened out in the last 20 pounds.
I was telling April the other day I know I an still significantly
overweight but feel I have changed appearance categories from
"really , really fat" to something less than that. |
|
In case you are wondering I am looking at my cat Guenhwyvar,
who was watching us thru the window. |
|
Side by side comparison...this is what loosing a hundred pounds looks like. |
|
Man that shirt is getting ridiculously baggy on me. My wife doesn't want me to but I think I am
going to get a smaller shirt for these shots. It's starting to look like I'm wearing a tent.
(If I do get a new shirt for these pictures I will save this one for the final batch at goal weight). |
|
Tummy still getting flatter. My arms are shrinking.
What really stands out to me is that my feet look a lot smaller. |
|
People who have lost a lot of weight talk about not really recognizing themselves for a period
while they are loosing. I am starting to understand this because even though I see my face
every day it still looks different than the person I am used to seeing. |

Me at 140 down, My ankles (and legs in general) are definitely looking thinner. |
271 pounds, 144 down, I am definitely standing up straighter.
The belly is definitely getting smaller too
Here are the infamous "Batwings".
I figured it had been a while since I had done a comprehensive head shot comparrison so here is an updated one.
I like how the fit of my glasses has changed so much...and I thiink for the better
(actually, my wife noticed it first and pointed it out to me).
This is what losing 165 pounds looks like!!
I love how much better my posture is now.
Too much more lost here and I am going to start looking like a witchdoctor's shrunken head. |
